The Las Vegas Vipers of the XFL have announced a huge signing with just days to go before the XFL kicks off, bringing in former Green Bay Packers veteran quarterback Brett Hundley.
The Vipers released former USFL and Spring League quarterback Bryan Scott over an apparent dispute in playing time. Shortly thereafter, the team announced the splash signing of nine-year NFL veteran Brett Hundley.
Hundley, 29, is best known for starting nine games for Aaron Rodgers in 2017, where he threw for 1,836, nine touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. The now 29-year-old most recently spent 2022 season with the Baltimore Ravens, after stints with the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, Indianapolis Colts, and Green Bay Packers.
The seven-year NFL vet is one of the highest–paid players in the XFL, reportedly making well over $200k for the season.

Hundley joins a quarterback room that also features Luis Perez a staple in alt-football and probably the best quarterback in last year’s USFL. He will however be joining former teammate wide receiver Geronimo Allison from his team with the Green Bay Packers in Las Vegas.
