Kragujevac Wild Boars head back to Serbian title game

The Kragujevac Wild Boars had no trouble downing the Meridian Indija Indians in the first semifinal in the Serbian American Football league Saturday whipping them 50-3.

The Wild Boars, defending Serbian champions, took the lead early and never looked back.

Kragujevac quarterback Dalton Oliver threw four touchdown passes, two to Strahinja Stepovic. Stepovic added another on the ground while Aleksi Stevanovic and Stefan Djuric also caught touchdown passes. Running back Laurent Tshimanga scored on an eight yard run and Marko Karabaić returned an interception for a 47 yard touchdown. Petar Goić kicked seven extra points.

Darko Klasan kicked a 40 yard field goal for the over matched Indians.

Kragujevac raced out to a 36-0 halftime lead before the “mercy rule” was implemented. The teams played under run time in the second half.

With the win, the Wild Boars advance to the championship game for the second year in a row.
