Well traveled Wojciech “Voyt” Andrzejczak new DC for Denmark’s Triangle Razorbacks

Denmark’s Triangle Razorbacks have signed Wojciech “Voyt” Andrzejczak from Poland as their new defensive coordinator.

The Razorbacks are winners of eight of the last 14 Danish championships, including the last one officially awarded, in 2019.

In Andrzejczak though, they might be getting more than a defensive coordinator.

He is a highly experienced coach who has traversed the planet in the name of football. So “well traveled” might even be an understatement.

There is no doubt though, that he has taken an international football career path.

For the past decade, the 36 year old Andrzejczak has crisscrossed the globe coaching, learning, mentoring, teaching and promoting the game of football. From his native Poland, to the United States, from China to Romania, Switzerland and Germany. And more in between.

And not only is he a football coach. He is also a writer, speaker and media relations director and much else besides.

In fact, since 2011, he has been on the move, absorbing and dispensing football knowledge wherever he goes.

This past season, despite the pandemic, he spent the early summer with Switzerland’s Calanda Broncos working with both the men’s team and the U19 team. He then served as defensive coordinator for the Wieliczka Dragons in Poland. The year before he was an assistant defensive line coach and defensive QC at Towson University where he helped the Tigers defense reduce points surrendered per game by 5.3 points and increased the turnovers by a margin of +5.

In 2018, he started the year as assistant defensive coordinator and defensive line coach with the Allgau Comets in the German Football League and finished as defensive coordinator with the Bucharest Rebels in Romania where the team finished second in the prestigious Atlantic Cup tournament and set a record of sorts by forcing 14 turnovers in two games.

He spent part of 2016 and 2017 working in China with Great Stone Gridiron, coaching youth football to and teaching the game to a rapidly growing number of athletes and enthusiasts.

He has worked for Team USA and the USA Football Heads Up Protection Tour and coached high school football in the United States as well (Clifton Mustangs HS NJ).

As a member of the American Football Coaches Association (since 2013) he has been called upon to speak and write in various publications and his article “Polish your Kicking Game” was published in the AFCA Summer Manual 2014. He has completed a number of courses at various institutes including The Science of Training Young Athletes at University of Florida, Sports and Society at Duke University and The Global Business of  Sports at University of Pennsylvania.

In his home country of Poland, he has been a pioneer helping not only with coaching but also marketing and fundraising.

So to say the Razorbacks have simply signed a defensive coordinator is slightly misleading.
