Vote for Top 5 Games of Decade in Europe – chance to win an AFI cap
Your response was amazing.
We asked you to nominate your top games of the decade and you definitely did. Through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and email your suggestions poured in.
Thank you.
We have managed to narrow the list down to 20 games. It wasn’t easy. There were some terrific games nominated and there have been a lot of incredible games played over the past 10 years in Europe that did not get nominated. One of the games nominated was Mexico’s 19-17 win over Team USA in the World University Championships in 2018. Since this poll was for games played in Europe, it does not qualify, but it will be included when we do a world ranking of the best games.
Now we want you to vote on the Top 5. One of them is actually from before the decade began but that was discovered after the fact so we decided to let it slide.
We ask you to send in your votes. The games are listed in no particular order and the numbers assigned are simply for voting purposes. We will dig up the five games and show on AFI if available where technically possible.
Three of you will win an AFI summer cap! Winners will be notified for contact details and shipping address.
Cast your vote by writing AFI Top 5 and the number of the game and sending using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and email ([email protected]). Voting ends Sunday, May 3 at midnight Central European Time.
