Odom was a star in the USFL racking up 12.5 sacks, 3.5 more than any other defender in the league. The former Houston Gambler also blocked four kicks and forced six fumbles. He was a machine and the Saints are expected to work out the 27 year old this week.
Chris Odom played on the same high school team as Myles Garrett and would end up landing at Arkansas State in college.
Odom is now 27 and hoping to make an impact in the NFL. Odom has had a fair chance in the league bouncing around from the Falcons, Packers, Dolphins and Commanders.
I hope the Saints land Odom soon, because he had a great USFL season.
