As we reach just past the midpoint of the 2018 season in France, the passing, receiving and rushing stats are out and there are no clear tendencies.
The top three teams in the league – Thonon Black Panthers, St. Ouen l’Aumône Cougars and La Courneuve Flash – lead the three categories but have not dominated so far.
The Marseilles Blue Stars have four players among the three categories while the Cougars have three players, and the Black Panthers, Flash and Bron-Villeurbanne Falcons two each. The Asnieres Molosses and Aix-en-Provence Argonautes have one each. The Rouen Leopards do not have a single player among the top five in any category.
Passing
St. Ouen l’Aumône Cougars quarterback Jonathan Baker has been the most prolific passer in France so far in 2018 throwing for 1,157 yards and a league-best 12 TDs. Kyle Boehm of the Thonon Black Panthers trails by more than 200 yards with 919 yards while Aix-en-Provence Argonautes QB Niko Fortino is 3rd with 854 yards and 6 TDs. Travis Adamson of the Marseilles Blue Stars is 4th at 841 yards and Arthur Penet of the Bron-Villeurbanne Falcons is now 5th with 723 yards.
Receiving
WR Jeff Alexandre of the league-leading Thonon Black Panthers tops all receivers with 372 yards and 4 TDs after his team has played five games (opening game was postponed due to weather). Behind him is St. Ouen l’Aumône Cougars wide receiver Enzo Fraloli with 332 yards. Cyprien Virot of the Bron-Villeurbanne Falcons is 3rd with 326 yards while Hadrien Lynda is 4th with 299 yards. The number five leading receiver in France is another Marseille player, Robert Fargeon, who has 264 yards receiving.
Rushing
La Courneuve Flash RB Nicolas Khandar is the leading rusher in France just past the midpoint of the season and is averaging 6.13 yards a carry en route to 503 yards and 4 TDs. Behind him in 2nd is Asnieres Molosses WR/QB Jordan Moore with 450 yards and a league-leading 5 TDs. Well behind in 3rd is Pereese Joas of the Marseilles Blue Stars with 330 yards. The number 4 leading rusher in France so far is Isaac Amoako of the St. Ouen l’Aumône Cougars who has 264 yards while Jason Aguemon of the Flash is 5th with 259.
