The Nordic Storm’s championship climate

The ELF’s newest team the Nordic Storm have made quite an entrance to the league the past few weeks. Just more than a month after being introduced at the ELF championship game the Scandinavian squad has been dominating the headlines of the off-season.

Building the foundation

The Storm announced their first coach in franchise history will be John Shoop. Shoop was most recently the quarterbacks coach of the Rhein Fire in 2024. Prior to that he spent 20 years coaching in College football and the NFL.

Maybe his best experience to prepare him for Copenhagen/Malmö would be his 2023 gig as the head coach of the expansion Munich Ravens. There he led the brand new franchise to a 7-5 record in their first ever season.
