Team Mexico has announced its 50 man roster for the 2018 International Federation of American Football U19 World Championships to be held in Mexico City, July 14-22.
The offensive roster contains three quarterbacks, five running backs, nine wide receivers/tight ends, eight offensive linemen. On defense there are nine defensive linemen, six linebackers and nine defensive backs.
Team Japan opens the tournament on July 14 when they face Mexico. Then they move on to face either Team Canada or the United States on July 18 depending on if they win or lose their opening game. The final round of games including the medal round games is scheduled for July 22. Mexico has won the bronze medal in the last two IFAF U19 World Championships (2016 in Harbin, China & 2014 in Kuwait) and finished fourth in the inaugural 2009 tournament held in the United States.
