The French U19 national team, Team France, has announced its 60 man roster as they prepare for the IFAF 2019 U19 European Championships being held in Bologna, Italy from July 29 to August 4.
Team France head coach Emannuel Maguet has submitted his preliminary, 60 man roster for the tournament. Coach Maguet will hold a final training camp starting July 23 in Thonon les Bains, at the practice facilities of the Thonon Black Panthers, where he and his staff will reduce the roster to the final 45 players.
France has one of the best records in the biennial tournament since its inception in 1992. The French have won the U19 European Championship title twice, 2004 and 2006, finished second five times, 1992, 1998, 2011, 2013 and 2017*. Team France wound up third in 2008 and finished fourth in 1994, 2002 and 2015.
