The journey to gold at the IFAF U20 World Junior Championship is underway, with Football Canada’s management team working diligently to select a squad that will strive for a global “three peat” in Edmonton. Head coach, Warren Craney, is forming a coaching staff that is dedicated to Canada’s fourth World Junior Championship.
An announcement revealing the composition of the coaching team will be made this coming Friday. This pivotal step marks the culmination of an intensive search for the finest coaching minds in the country, ensuring that Team Canada is equipped with the strategic and technical leadership needed for success.
The announcement of the Top Athletes are eagerly anticipated and is set to be released on March 4th, 2024. Selected athletes will receive direct communication detailing the next stages in their quest for gold with Team Canada.
Canada are the defending champions of the event, last played in 2018. Canada has also captured gold in 2012 and 2016. The world championship is scheduled for Edmonton’s Commonwealth Stadium and Clarke Stadium for June 20-30.
