A third young Swedish player in the last few weeks is headed to a major US college on a football scholarship as Robin Jutwreten from the Arlanda Jets has committed to Rutgers.
He follows in the footsteps of Isaac Moore and Oskar Andersson both of whom will be attending Temple University. He is one of a half dozen or so ex Arlanda Jets to join US college football ranks including Jordan Genmark-Heath who is playing for Notre Dame.
Jutwreten is a 6’5″, 240 lb defensive end who was noticed by Brandon Collier last year when he and his Premier Players International crew were holding a camp in Sweden.
Since then, Jutwreten has been on the journey of a lifetime. He followed along with Collier and PPI on a winter tour in December visiting Rutgers, Michigan, Penn State, Temple, UMass and Kent State. He was also invited to attended the Ohio State-Penn State football game.
For a young football player from a small club in Sweden, this was the trip of dreams. He finally decided on Rutgers thanks to a final visit in Sweden by Rutger’s head coach Chris Ash.

He said he settled on Rutgers because it felt like home:
“Rutgers feels like home already! So my thoughts are just that I think it’s nice that it is finally official! From the first time i was there in November I just feel like a have a connection to Rutgers.”
Jutwreten’s coach at Arlanda Remi Fritzel:
“Robin has a mean, non-stop motor, and will give you everything he has at all times. He has great character and is doing all the things that are asked of him. Having tremendous speed and quickness off the ball, combined with strength and quick moves, he dominates his side of the field. As a person, Robin is humble and well-mannered. I am extremely proud of what he has accomplished.”
Jutwreten is effusive about Collier and his coaches:
“I credit my coaches and coach Collier a lot! Of course I have been the one waking up early to work out but without the guidance and coaching from my coaches I wouldn’t be were I am at right now. Coach Magnus Alnesjö has been my strength and conditioning coach and he has done a great job preparing me, not only physically but also mentally. Coach Collier has so much for me it’s just amazing. He has helped me from the first day I meet him and always been there guiding me and helping me to understand the process of recruiting. I give Brandon Credit for my relation with Rutgers because I was in America the first time with him. He asked me and two other Europeans if we wanted to take a chance and go over there just visiting schools, and it really paid of. Thanks to Brandon I was able to get in contact with some of the most amazing coaches and schools. I will be thankful forever!”
Collier, who is basically funding Premier Players International out of his own pocket for now, credits a number of people who have stepped up to help:
“Immo Osterkamp, Mathias Hilebrand, Anthony Rouzier, and Maz Zaher have all done an amazing job behind the scenes assisting me with these kids .”
The other two Swedish PPI projects, Oskar Andersson and Isaac Moore, both of whom committed to Temple, also had a visit from their new head coach, Geoff Collins.
