The Tyresö Royal Crowns have ended their hunt for a quarterback signing outstanding Wyoming starter Colby Kirkegaard.
Finding the right quarterback can be decisive for a team aiming to reach a championship and to having a chance to win it.
Far too many times we have watched teams with enormous potential fail simply because they did not have good play from that position.
“Recruiting a quarterback is always a key and is often the difference between a good and a bad season. As a staff, we have been extra careful in our hunt for the right man to lead the Royal Crowns offense in 2015. In Colby we feel that we have found the right man as a leader , player and teammate. He comes to us with a background at the highest college level and I look forward to seeing him perform against the other Super Series teams,” said Andreas Ehrenreich, Head Coach Tyresö Royal Crowns.

Brent Vigen, Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach – Wyoming Cowboys:
“The main attributes that you are looking for (student of the game and leadership) are the areas Colby particularly excelled this past season. He is a man of great character and it is very easy for his teammates to respond to him.”

“Colby is an excellent passer with a very high football IQ. The fact that he has played against the top schools in the USA like Oregon and Michigan State speaks for itself.”
Thomas Carlstedt, wider eceivers coach/team recruiter, Tyresö Royal Crowns.
“Being able to sign a quarterback of Colby’s caliber is pretty exciting. He will fit right into our offense. And with his knowledge and experience he will be a huge asset. After all the converstions we have had with him throughout the recruiting process I am convinced we have a player who will fit right into our team.”
