The Swedish Superserien enters its third weekend of play and there is already a clear trend.
The four teams who have made up the league for the past two seasons are in a class of their own. While the league-leading Stockholm Mean Machines are idle this week, the other three – the Tyresö Royal Crowns, Örebro Black Knights and Carlstad Crusaders – are in action.
The highlight game of the week in Sweden features the Royal Crowns (1-0) hosting Carlstad (1-0) in Stockholm. Carlstad is coming off an easy 42-6 win over the Kristianstad Predators while the Royal Crowns opened the season by defeating the Oslo Vikings 56-37. In other action, the Predators (0-1) will be looking for their first win when they travel to Stockholm to face AIK (0-0) who will be playing their first game. Finally, the Limhamn Griffins (0-1) will play their first home game when they take on Örebro (1-1).

AIK are playing their first game of the season when they play host to the Kristianstad Predators. Kristianstad got a rude awakening in their first game back in Sweden’s top league since 2015 after being trounced 42-6 by Carlstad last week.
