Stockholm Mean Machines sign University of Central Oklahoma QB Dawson Herl

The Stockholm Mean Machines have announced the signing of quarterback Dawson Herl for the 2025 Swedish Superserien season

The 6’3*, 212 pound native of Independence, Missouri is a sixth-year senior at the University of Central Oklahoma (NCAA Div. II). He transferred from Missouri Southern State in 2023 and had an immediate impact on the Broncos offense playing in 10 of 11 games throwing for 1,667 yards and 14 touchdowns.

At Missouri Southern, he threw for more than 3,000 yards in two seasons totaling 2,260 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2021 and 1,041 yards and five touchdowns in 2022. He also rushed for 275 yards and four touchdowns in two seasons.

He has a degree from Missouri Southern in Business Administration and is currently finishing up his  second degree in Insurance and Risk Management and will graduate this December.
