Spain: Las Rozas Black Demons defeat Osos Rivas in title game rematch

The defending champion Las Rozas Black Demons drew first blood in the Spanish National American Football League’s opening weekend of play when they defeated Osos Rivas 21-14 in a rematch of the 2024 championship game

The Black Demons, winners of the past two titles, jumped out to a 21-0 halftime lead and the held on for the win.

Las Rozas quarterback Theo Landers was a key completing 10 of 15 passes for 101 yards and one touchdown while rushing for  48 yards and the other two scores. Wide receiver Álvaro Molano caught the lone touchdown pass.

For Osos, quarterback Norman Douglas tossed two touchdown passes, both to Ricky Jones.

In other action, the Coslada Camioneros downed the Gijon Mariners 33-14 in Gijon while the Badalona Dracs beat the L’Hospitalet Pioners 43-14 and the newly promoted Terrassa Reds blanked the Barcelona Pagesos 21-0
