Serbia: SBB Vukovi Belgrade sign former New Mexico RB Crusoe Gongbay
The SBB Vukovi Belgrade have announced the signing of former University of New Mexico Lobo running back Crusoe Gongbay.
The Rockville, Maryland native will be entering his third season in Europe after playing for the Hamburg Pioneers (German Div. III) in 2019 and Slovakia’s Bratislava Monarchs in 2018.
At 6′, 205 pounds, the 27 year old Gongbay was a highly versatile running back at New Mexico where he rushed for 1,605 yards and 14 touchdowns from 2011 to 2014 and was a key special teams player accumulating 200 tackles.
Gongbay is looking forward to playing in Belgrade:
