SBB Vukovi Belgrade are bringing back quarterback Ryan Barabe to be the signal caller for another season in Serbia’s Prva Liga.
The 6’4″, 215-pound Barabe will be entering his second year with the team. The Pinetree, Georgia native led Vukovi to the 2022 Serbian Bowl title beating the Kragujevac Wild Boars 24-17.
Before coming to Europe, Barabe played his college football at Seton Hill University (NCAA Division II) in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. In his two seasons as a Griffith, Barabe threw for 3,226 yards and 21 touchdowns. Through 16 games, he completed 261 of 453 passes for a 58% completion percentage. He also rushed for one touchdown. Barabe also spent one season – 2021 – on the Seton Hill coaching staff.
Barabe played two seasons at ASA Junior College in New York prior to his time at Seton Hill.
Being a member of one of the best teams in Serbia, Barabe will look to continue his rivalry with the Wild Boars and capture his second Serbian Bowl championship.
