Serbia: SBB Vukovi Belgrade bring back QB Ryan Barabe for 2024 season.
SBB Vukovi Belgrade are bringing back quarterback Ryan Barabe to be the signal caller for another season in Serbia’s Prva Liga.
The 6’4″, 215-pound Barabe will be entering his second year with the team. The Pinetree, Georgia native led Vukovi to the 2022 Serbian Bowl title beating the Kragujevac Wild Boars 24-17.
Before coming to Europe, Barabe played his college football at Seton Hill University (NCAA Division II) in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. In his two seasons as a Griffith, Barabe threw for 3,226 yards and 21 touchdowns. Through 16 games, he completed 261 of 453 passes for a 58% completion percentage. He also rushed for one touchdown. Barabe also spent one season – 2021 – on the Seton Hill coaching staff.
Barabe played two seasons at ASA Junior College in New York prior to his time at Seton Hill.
Being a member of one of the best teams in Serbia, Barabe will look to continue his rivalry with the Wild Boars and capture his second Serbian Bowl championship.
