Rhein Fire sign explosive Montana State WR Willie Patterson
The undefeated Rhein Fire have signed Montana State (NCAA DI) wide receiver Willie Patterson, who will replace the injured Nate Robitaille.
The Washington-born receiver was an explosive high school player, achieving first team All-State honors as an all-purpose back and earning two 2A SPSL League MVPs, as well as playing quarterback for his school.

Patterson is a shifty, explosive receiver and return specialist, recording an impressive 4.5 40-yard-dash. During his time with the MSU Bobcats, he was a four-year starter but had two seasons cut short due to injury. In his final season he recorded 44 receptions for 626 and nine touchdowns, finding himself in the Big Sky All-Conference team.
Against Northern Colorado, the Bobcats receiver caught seven passes for a career-high 148 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

The 5’11, 185 pound speedster will link up with Jadrian Clark, who leads the ELF in passing yards and touchdowns, to attempt to improve an already dominant offensive unit.
The Rhein Fire will look to continue their win streak as they travel to Paris to play the Musketeers on Sunday.
