Purdue WR TJ Sheffield arrested for biting a Public Safety Official
You cannot make this stuff up. According to a police report, Purdue wide receiver TJ Sheffield was arrested for biting a paramedic that was trying to help him.
According to reports, Sheffield’s roommate called paramedics to get his teammate help because he was worried that Sheffield could have alcohol poisoning and had blood in his vomit. When the paramedics arrived to help the star wide receiver and tried to strap him into the stretcher, Sheffield bit her.
According to the report, the paramedic began pulling Sheffield’s hair to make him let go from biting her which he eventually did. The paramedics rushed him to Fransciscan Health Hospital for treatment, and the charges were filed.
He will be in court on September 22, 2021, to face the charges. He is Purdue’s return man and totaled 412 all-purpose yards last season.
