Pro Football Hall Of Fame Academy announces international camp
The Pro Football Hall of Fame Academy is searching for the brightest and best in European talent aged 16-20.
Through Director of International Player development (and Bristol Academy PRIDE Head Coach) Benjamin Herod, the search has begun for those in Europe with a talent, and work ethic to match, that want to be coached by NFL level coaches at the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s first ever International camp.
The camp will bring together those from non-U.S. backgrounds at the state of the art re-development of the hall of fame in the week leading into the Hall of Fame Inductions and Cowboys v Cardinals game. The four-day camp starts this July on the 25th. At the end of the camp those that from Europe receiving elite invitations will also get an opportunity to take part in a show case game against those from Canada that attended the same camp. The game is being played at the Hall of Fame Stadium and give those taking part an opportunity to be put in front of NCAA recruiters.
The camp cost is $499 and is sold as a non residential camp, meaning those taking part need to make their own way there and pay for accommodation. The selection process has already begun with more than 20 players already receiving invitations from Great Britain, France, Belgium and beyond. Players are being selected after submitting their game film on the signup form which can be found by joining the following the Pro Football Hall of Fame Academy facebook group.
There is also a non elite camp invite available for those that don’t quite make the cut. This does not include a showcase game at the end but does include all the same level of coaching etc at the same price.
