Poland: Silesia Rebels sign Jon Mullin as their QB for 2021
The Silesia Rebels who will play in Poland’s top league in 2021, have signed Jon Mullin as their quarterback for the season.
The Rebels finished the 2020 season with an 0-5 record.
The Bayonne, New Jersey native played one game in Poland in 2020, for the Bialystok Lowlanders, leading them, ironically, to a 38-14 win over the Rebels before having to leave the team for personal reasons.
Mullin, 6’2″, 220 pounds, played 18 games for the Wesley Wolverines (NCAA Div. III) from 2017-2019, which included 144 completions for 1835 yards and 14 touchdowns. He recorded his best game this past season against William Paterson as he completed 23 of 32 attempts for 365 yards and three touchdowns.
Wesley went 10-2 overall and 6-1 in NJAC play. The Wolverines finished second in the New Jersey Athletic Conference and advanced to the second round of NCAA play before falling to Delaware Valley University, 45-10, at home.
