Playoff berths on the line as Austrian Football League livestreams four key matchups
The Austrian Football League rolls into the latter half of the 2024 season with four games on tap this weekend, all of them being livestreamed.
The feature matchup pits the Danube Dragons (3-2) playing at home in Vienna against the Prague Black Panthers (3-3) with both teams jostling for a playoff berth. These two teams met two weeks ago in Prague with the Dragons coming out on top 17-14. The unbeaten Vienna Vikings (6-0) head to Innsbruck to face arch rivals, the Swarco Raiders (3-3). This will be the first meeting between the two this year and the Raiders, who are in a battle for the final playoff spot, badly need the win. In other action, the Salzburg Ducks (0-4) will be looking for their first win of 2024 when they travel to Mödling to take on the Mödling Rangers (2-4).This will be the first game of the two-game back-to-back series between the two teams. Finally, the lowly Telfs Patriots (0-5) sporting the worst record in the AFL by a wide margin, will play host to the Graz Giants (5-1).
