In a poll conducted by Inside Sport: Japan, the players in the 18 team X League in Japan, one of the top American football leagues in the world, have selected the top 70 players in the league.
We have picked out the Top 25.
This was a true players’ vote. There is no better ranking of the top players than by their peers.
Out of the Top 25, the teams with the most players represented were the reigning champion Fujitsu Frontiers and 2018 semifinalist, the Obic Seagulls, who each had eight players on the list. The 2018 X Bowl finalists, IBM Big Blue had five players while the Nojima Sagamihara Rise had two and the Panasonic Impulse and Elecom Kobe Finies had one each.
Of the Top 25, 12 are import players.

Former New Mexico State LB Trashaun Nixon, converted to running back in 2018 and had a phenomenal season, capping it with a 196 yard, 3 TD rushing day in the championship final. He was the key to the Frontiers fourth title in five years. The rest of the league obviously agree.
