The Warsaw Eagles of the Polish Football League have signed quarterback Maxim Cherepivskiy. The veteran signal-caller is excited to take his talents to Poland.
“I have been watching the Polish Championship (PFL) for a long time and it was very interesting for me to try myself in this league. I know the coach Talib Wise, he is a great specialist and he will help me grow even more in terms of experience and new knowledge.”
The 6’1″, 245-pound quarterback brings plenty of experience to Warsaw after playing many years with the Kyiv Capitals in Ukraine and capturing five titles in the process. Last year, the 30-year-old Ukrainian passer took his talents abroad playing for the Mures Monsters in Romania, helping them reach the RoBowl final throwing for 17 touchdowns and only four interceptions.
As the Polish season approaches, Eagles head coach Talib Wise looks to sign some impact players like Cherepivskiy in order to bounce back from a tough season in 2021.
