The first import signing for the Paris Musketeers is a familiar face as they bring back standout receiver Austin Mitchell. The experienced playmaker is the first American to join the French squad now led by long time NFL coach Jack Del Rio.
Paris’s top WR returns
Last season the 175cm speedster caught 65 passes for 1,010 yards and 14 touchdowns cementing himself as one of the league’s top receivers, finishing fourth in receiving yards and first in touchdowns. In two playoff games, Mitchell caught another 7 passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns as the Musketeers beat the Munich Ravens in the Wildcard Round after a 10-2 regular season. On special teams the veteran had 637 total return yards putting him in the league’s top five returners.
