Sweden: Örebro Black Knights sign lockdown CB Donovan McConnell

The Örebro Black Knights have signed defensive back Donavan McConnell for the 2025 Swedish Superserien season.

The 6-1, 190 pound native of Atoka, Oklahoma spent the 2023 season with Northern State University (NCAA Div. II) where he appeared in 11 games notching 17 tackles, 11 PBUs and one interception in 31 targets. He gave up a total of only 10 catches. He had transferred from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.

As a lockdown corner, the 25 year old will bring added grit to the Black Knights secondary.

We are fortunate to have Donovan join our team this year. He is a experienced, high character player that will make a difference for us on the field. Looking forward seeing him maximaze his talent in our scheme.

McConnell:
