The recently inducted NFL Hall of Fame offensive tackle Joe Thomas made it official this week announcing that he will be joining thecoaching staff of the Munich Ravens in the European League of Football.
The 11-year NFL veteran for the Cleveland Browns made it clear that he and his family are looking to move to Germany during the ELF season next spring and summer following his visit to Munich last year. Thomas was part of the NFL Network TV crew covering the NFL International Game in Munich last year featuring Tom Brady, The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Back in June of this year, in an interview with reporter Icke Dommisch on the ran Football YouTube channel, Thomas said he plans to coach with the Munich Ravens next year, one of 17 teams in the European League of Football. However, following this announcement the Hall of Famer made it clear he will be on the ELF sidelines next season.

The all-time great offensive lineman made it clear he will be helping out the Ravens offensive line in a consultant role as well as helping the Ravens in many ways including player recruitment.
The Munich Ravens are a newer team in the European League of Football having just finished their first season in the three-year-old league. The Ravens recently finished the 2023 season with a 7-5 record, narrowly missing the playoffs.
Thomas and general manager Sean Shelton are currently looking to find the Ravens new head coach following the departure of John Schoop.
