Former Furman QB Chris Forcier will join the Milano Rhinos of the Italian Football League (IFL) in 2013!
Forcier played with the UCLA Bruins before transferring to Furman to play 2010 and 2011 with the Paladins. At Furman, Forcier was 1st Team All-Southern Conference QB in 2011 as well as the teams’ captain and MVP. He led the nation in passing rating 172.36 rating FCS collegiate level 2011. Forcier is the single-season passing touchdown and passer rating record holder for Furman University. After graduating Furman in 2012, Forcier spent time in mini-camps with NFL teams the Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets, prior to the 2012 season.
Forcier will be joined in Milan by Furman teammate Philip Silverstein. Silverstein plays TE and will most likely used on defense as well. It will be both players first season in Europe.
