For the first of the two wild card games, the expansion Gallos Negros, who are trying to end a five-game skid, will try to do it against the Mexicas. Sunday, May 1
(5) Reyes de Jalisco @ (4) Raptors de Naucalpan
The Reyes are a surprise number five seed after looking lost after their fourth game of the season. But now, they will be facing the Raptors for the second time this season and hope to win it on the second try, continuing their path towards upsetting and shocking the league. The Raptor,s meanwhile, have been in the playoffs for a league-record five times and are hoping that it will lead them to a rematch against the Dinos, which would be a third matchup for the two teams and the first game for Saltillo, since losing in the final seconds against the Raptors.
