The Dinos de Saltillo of Mexico’s Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional, LFA, have signed quarterback Michael Eubank for the 2023 season.
The 6′ 6″, 245-pound native of Corona, California is entering his first season in Mexico. His new team, the Dinos, had the best regular season record in the LFA but were eliminated in the semifinals by the sixth-seeded Gallos Negros de Querétaro.
The 30-year-old quarterback played the first seven games for the Düsseldorf Panther in the German Football League’s second division (GFL2) in the 2021 season, throwing for 1,305 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Eubank spent the 2018 and 2019 seasons with the Stuttgart Scorpions in Germany’s top division, the GFL, throwing for a total of 6,131 yards and 57 touchdowns.
He played the final two years of his collegiate career at Samford University (NCAA, Div. I) where he threw for 3,568 yards and 22 touchdowns after transferring from Arizona State University where he served as a backup during the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
