The Stockholm Mean Machines (4-1) will be looking atone for losing their first game of the Swedish Superserien regular season last week when they take on AIK Stockholm (1-3), Saturday, May 25.
This will be the first ever meeting between these two teams.
AIK gave up a late touchdown plus the two-point conversion to the Kristianstad Predators in their first game of the season to lose 21-20. However, they atoned for the loss by beating the Limhamn Griffins 15-8 last week. But they then suffered two straight lopsided losses after the Carlstad Crusaders pummeled them 42-0 and the Tyresö Royal Crowns beat them 35-7.
Stockholm is coming off their first loss of the season after losing to Carlstad 21-7 in Stockholm.

The Mean Machines has opened their 2024 season in the Swedish Superserien with four straight wins after beating the Örebro Black Knights 39-18, the Limhamn Griffins 44-14, the Kristianstad Predators 41-18 and the Oslo Vikings 34-21 . Six weeks ago, Stockholm downed the visiting British champions, the Manchester Titans, 44-14 in Central European Football League play and then lost a nail biter to the La Courneuve Flash 34-33.
Expect the Mean Machines to show no mercy. The consecutive losses to the Flash and Crusaders mark the first time since 2018 they have lost two straight games.
