LIVESTREAM Sweden PPV: Oslo Vikings @ Örebro Black Knights, April 14, 15:00 CET (3 pm, 9 am EDT)
The Oslo Vikings (0-1) take the five hour bus ride from Norway to Örebro in Sweden to face the Örebro Black Knights (0-1) as Sweden’s Superserien winds up its second weekend of play in the 2024 season.
The Black Knights are coming off a 39-18 loss to the Stockholm Mean Machines last week while Oslo suffered a 56-37 loss to the Tyresö Royal Crowns in Oslo.
Örebro head coach Sam Eisenstadt rely on 6’6″, 220 pound 28-year-old quarterback Trevor Vasey who threw for 324 yards and three touchdowns in last week’s loss to the Mean Machines. Wide receiver Anton Enkvist hauled in seven of his passes for 119 yards while Elliot Hammar had six for 86 and one touchdown and Johannes Lindeus six for 56 and a score. However, the Black Knights could only muster minus 11 yards on the ground! They will need to get their ground game going to have a chance against the Vikings.

The Vikings are led by former NCAA quarterback CJ Fowler who threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns against the Royal Crowns. He also added two touchdowns on the ground proving his versatility. His leading receiver last week as Matthew Snawder who caught four passes for 75 yards and two touchdowns as well as a two-point conversion. Elias Moland-Wulff had two receptions for 76 yards. Running back Anthony Thach carried the ball five times for 43 yards and a score while Vegard Tysse had eight carries for 32 yards. In other words, the Vikings rushing attack can cause problems for Örebro’s front seven.
This game should favor the home team Black Knights but Oslo could surprise, especially if the Örebro ground game stalls.
