LIVESTREAM Sweden PPV: Carlstad Crusaders @ Tyresö Royal Crowns, May 27, 17:00 CET (5 pm, 11 am EDT)
The Tyresö Royal Crowns will play host to the Carlstad Crusaders as the Swedish Superserien heads into the back half of the season.
The Royal Crowns (2-1) are coming off a disappointing 31-13 loss to the Stockholm Mean Machines while Carlstad came from behind to defeat the Örebro Black Knights last week 28-21.
These two teams met in the opening game of the season with Tyresö coming away clear 33-7 winners.
Following the opening day win, the Royal Crowns then whipped the Black Knights 41-7 before losing to Stockholm. Carlstad were edged 9-6 by the Mean Machines on a last minute field goal before downing Örebro.

Tyresö signal caller Hamish McClure is the second leading passer in the league having thrown for 539 yards and six touchdowns. His top receiver, Edvin Almeida, leads the league, also with 13 catches, but for 274 yards (113 yards vs Carlstad) and three touchdowns. Royal Crowns running back Oliver Coleman leads the league in rushing with 38 carries for 231 yards and a score. McClure is right behind him having rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries.
The Carlstad Crusaders (0-3) came close to pulling off the upset last week against the Mean Machines and are no doubt still smarting. Carlstad has the league’s third best offense producing 247 yards a game with 97.7 of that coming from the ground game. Crusaders running back Viktor Toresson is averaging 42 yards a contest.
However, the Crusaders enter the game without the services of quarterback Dante Vandeven who suffered an injury in the loss to Stockholm and is out for the season. Young Albin Forsman will no doubt start unless the hunt for a replacement import player was fruitful. Forsman has thrown for 349 yards and three touchdowns on 23 of 46 passing.
This game is hard to predict. Since that opening day loss, the Crusaders have steadily improved. They were close to beating Stockholm and then came from behind to beat Örebro after trailing 13-0. Meanwhile, the Royal Crowns were badly tripped up by Stockholm last week after two straight stellar performances against Carlstad and Örebro. Still, Tyresö is playing at home.
