The defending Spanish champion Las Rozas Black Demons head across Madrid to face Osos Rivas in a Spanish Bowl rematch Saturday, January 11 on the opening weekend of play in the Spanish National American Football League.

The Black Demons defeated Osos Rivas in the 2024 Spanish Bowl 37-23 capturing their second straight Spanish title. In fact, Las Rozas have reached the championship game in Spain for the last five years winning in both 2023 (also against Osos Rivas) and 2024. Osos Rivas won the 2022 title defeating the Black Demons 28-12 in that game.

The Black Demons enter the game with the championship-winning quarterback Theo Landers back behind center. Landers was the leading passer in the LNFA in 2024 having thrown for 1,567 yards and 18 touchdowns against zero interceptions. He leads a potent offense that averaged 38.5 points a game in 2024.

Osos Rivas has signed former Edward Waters University (NCAA Div. II) and Jackson State University quarterback Norman Douglas Jr. He spent the 2024 season with the Toulouse Ours in the French top league.
