This is a clash between two teams in the middle of the Spanish League of Football East standings, as the third place Zaragoza Hurricanes travel to Mallorca to take on the fourth place Mallorca Voltors. Both of these teams sit on a 3-4 record and hope for a third-place finish isn’t out of the realm of possibility for either squad.

In the only meeting between these two teams this season, Zaragoza came out on top 35-19.

Going into this game Mallorca are on a two-game losing streak with a 41-21 loss to the Pioners and then a 42-0 loss a couple of weeks ago against the Badalona Dracs. Mallorca need to find form if they wish to finish third as they have struggled. In their last five  games their only win was a nail-biting 26-25 victory over the Barcelona Pagesos.

Zaragoza on the other hand have had slightly better form, coming of a 36-0 victory over the Barcelona Pagesos a few weeks ago, after being on their own two-game losing streak, with three of their last five games being a win, most notably for this game a 35-19 win over Mallorca back in February. They seem to have the better form but can they get another win to close out the season.
