LIVESTREAM Spain: Terrassa Reds @ L’Hospitalet Pioners, March 1, 16:00 CET (4 pm, 10 am ET)

The Terrassa Reds (3-1-1) hit the road Saturday, March 1 when they face the L’Hospitalet Pioners (2-3) at the CE L’Hospitalet Nord sports complex outside of Barcelona as the Spanish League of American Football heads into the second half of the season.

The Reds defeated L’Hospitalet 19-16 earlier in the season.

The Reds, who are new to the top league this season, opened the season with a 21-0 win over the Pagesos.  They then defeated Pioners 19-16 in week #2 before suffering their first loss of the season, 40-22 to the Badalona Dracs. They rebounded by beating the Mallorca Voltors 28-20 behind a three touchdown game from Alpha Jalloh who played both receiver and quarterback. However, they mustered only a 3-3 tie against the Barcelona Pagesos a week ago.

The Pioners lost their first two games of the season after being thumped 43-14 by the Dracs on opening day and 19-16 by the Reds. Two weeks ago they turned things around by stunning the Mallorca Voltors 16-14. They then blanked the Pagesos 7-0 in a defensive battle only to lose to the Dracs again, 28-0.

Terrassa relies heavily on Jalloh who plays receiver, quarterback and punt/kick returner. He is the fourth leading touchdown scorer with seven.
