The Murcia Cobras (4-2) head to Fuengirola, Spain on the Costa del Sol to play the Fuengirola Potros (2-4) in a game that has turned into an important matchup for both teams in the Spanish League of American Football.

The Cobras had an easy time of it the last time these two teams met blanking Fuengirola 41-0 at home in Murcia.

Since then, the Cobras have lost to the league-leading Badalona Dracs 49-26 but rebounded with a momentum-building, thrilling 39-34 victory over the Las Rozas Black Demons. They followed that with a 41-0 blanking of the Granada Lions. In between, the Cobras, 2018 finalists in the Spain, have alternated between outright domination with lopsided wins over Granada and the Fuengirola Potros 41-0, and embarrassment. They were overwhelmed by the Badalona Dracs 49-26  in February.

Cobras quarterback Adam Salvadori seems to have found his rhythm and with sure-handed wide receiver Cory Holmes to throw to  the offense is clicking.

The Potros, in their first season in the top league, have beaten the winless Lions twice but need a win against a playoff-bound opponent to secure post season play. Potros, QB Carlos Chaves needs to have a good day connecting with receivers with Juan Carlos Cortés and Salvador Jiménez,
