LIVESTREAM Spain: Mallorca Voltors @ Terrassa Reds, March 30, 12:00 CET (12 noon, 6 am ET)

The Terrassa Reds (4-1-1) will host the Mallorca Voltors (3-4) Sunday, March 30 in the final regular season game in the Spanish National League of American Football.

These two teams met once before this season with the Reds coming away with a 28-20 win.

The Reds, who are new to the top league this season, opened the season with a 21-0 win over the Barcelona Pagesos.  They then defeated the L’Hospitalet Pioners 19-16 in week #2 before suffering a 40-22 loss to the Badalona Dracs. They rebounded by beating the Voltors 28-20 behind a three touchdown game from Alpha Jalloh who played both receiver and quarterback. However, they mustered only a 3-3 tie against the Barcelona Pagesos but downed the Pioners 27-9.

The Voltors dropped a 16-14 decision in Game #2 to the L’Hospitalet Pioners after opening the season by upsetting the Badalona Dracs 24-22. In the third week of action, they lost to the Pagesos and then were then beaten 28-20 by the Reds. They then dropped a 47-21 decision to Badalona before winning their second game of the season, beating the Pioners 21-14. They followed that up with a 13-8 victory of the Pagesos.

Terrassa actually has a game in hand as their matchup against the Dracs last week was halted due to a thunderstorm which struck as the game got underway. It remains to be seen as to whether that game will be played. If the Reds defeat Mallorca, then that suspended game will be crucial as it would be a battle for first place in the Eastern conference.
