The defending Spanish champion Las Rozas Black Demons are on the road to face the Zaragoza Hurricanes, today, January 19 as the second weekend of play in the Spanish National American Football League winds up.
This is the opening game of the 2025 season for the Hurricanes while Las Rozas are entering their second game of the year after defeating arch rivals, Osos Rivas, 21-14 last weekend.
Zaragoza have moved to the West conference this season so this is the first meeting between these two teams. The Hurricanes finished the 2024 season with a 4-4 record and out of the playoffs. Meanwhile, Las Rozas have won the last two Spanish titles and are led by the same quarterback, Canadian Theo Landers.
