The league-leading and defending champion Las Rozas Black Demons (4-0) square off against arch rivals, Osos Rivas, Saturday, February 22 in the top matchup of Week 5 in the Spanish National League of American Football.

The Black Demons have opened the season impressively reeling off four straight wins, three of them lopsided. After getting by Osos Rivas 21-14 in the first game of the year, Los Rozas whipped the Zaragoza Hurricanes 49-6 and then beat the Gijon Mariners 49-27. Last weekend they pounded the Coslada Camioneros 40-3.

Osos Rivas defeated the Mariners 38-0 a week ago after defeating the Hurricanes 42-10.The 2024 finalists had whipped Camioneros 35-10 the week before. In the opening game of the season, Osos lost to the Black Demons.

The Black Demons have by far the best offense in the league with quarterback Theo Landers having tossed 11 touchdown passes while scoring another four on his own.

For Osos, quarterback Norman C. Douglas Jr is the key. He is tied with Landers with 11 touchdowns thrown.

This game is a toss up with an edge to Las Rozas who are playing at home.
