The undefeated Badalona Dracs (7-0) head to Madrid, Spain to face the 6-1 Osos Rivas in a battle for first place and home field advantage in the playoffs as the Spanish League of American Football rolls into its final weekend of play.
The last time these two teams met was in the 2018 semifinals when Badalona blanked Osos 48-0.
That is not expected today.
Osos boasts the third highest scoring offense in Spain with 292 points in seven games, and second best defense having allowed just 50 points.
Osos relies on quarterback Ryan Deal, who has been superb all season throwing 22 touchdown passes and wide receiver Kevin Wiggins who leads the league in scoring with 114 points.
Dracs QB Hunter Correll leads an offense that is averaging 52 points a game while giving up just eight. He leads the league in touchdown passes with 40 while his leading receiver, Guillem García has scored 78 points. Another key to the Dracs offense is WR Taylor Ekström. Linebacker Terrell Woods leads a formidable defense which also includes Jorge Hernández, Jorge Ruiz and Felipe Archila.
