The L’Hospitalet Pioners (1-2) will play host to the Barcelona Pagesos (1-2) Saturday, February 15 in Spain’s National League of American Football.
The Pioners lost their first two games of the season after being thumped 43-13 by the Badalona Dracs on opening day and 19-16 by newcomers, the Terrassa Reds. Two weeks ago they turned things around by stunning the Mallorca Voltors 16-14.
Barcelona also dropped their two first games losing to the Reds 21-0 and the Dracs 32-23. They too also surprised Mallorca, slipping by them 10-6.
Last year, the Pioners beat Barcelona both times the two teams faced each other, 17-0 and 31-13.
