LIVESTREAM PPV: Canadian Bowl – Langley Rams v. Saskatoon Hilltops, Sat. Nov. 17, 1p (2p EST, 8p CEST)
For the third time since 2012, the Langley Rams will square off against the unbeaten Saskatoon Hilltops for the Canadian Junior Football championship in the 111th Canadian Bowl to be held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Saturday, November 17.
The Hilltops, winners of seven of the past eight CJFL titles, enter the game as the favorites. This is the second time these two teams face each other in the national junior final. Four years ago. Saskatoon beat the Rams 39-14 at McLeod Stadium in Langley, BC.
This is the fourth trip for the Rams (Surrey/Langley) to the Canadian Bowl. They lost in 1992 to the Ottawa Sooners, and in 2012 and 2014 to Saskatoon.
Saskatoon enters the game after winning its fifth straight CJFL Prairie Conference championship, beating the visiting Edmonton Huskies. Meanwhile, the Rams defeated the Hamilton Hurricanes 39-14. In that game, quarterback Duncan Little finished 20 of 32 for 292 yards and three touchdowns. Hilltops quarterback Jordan Walls finished the year with 2,010 yards passing in eight games.
