The Krakow Kings (6-2) will play host to the Bialystok Lowlanders (4-4) in the second Polish Football League semifinal game with the winner advancing to the Championship Game.

The winner of this game will have two weeks to get ready to face the Warsaw Eagles in Warsaw’s Polonia stadium. The Eagles defeated the Silesia Rebels 30-20 in the other semifinal.

In the second of two games that highlight the reversal of fortunes the PFL has seen this year, a team that did not make the 2023 playoffs (the Kings) will be hosting a 2023 Polish Bowl participant.

The Kings will host one of the two teams to beat them during the regular season. Krakow lost their first game of the regular season in overtime to Bialystok in week 6. The big question is if their import quarterback, Jack Bill, will be behind center or not. The Kings two overtime losses have both come in games where Bill left the game in the third quarter. The most recent was the season finale loss to the Eagles in which the American was hurt.

Early on. the Lowlanders struggled to find their rhythm on offense, but with the change in defensive imports during the season, the defending champs have been able to put some points on the board, most notably the two defensive touchdowns they scored in their 27-20, overtime win against the Kings.
