LIVESTREAM Polish Bowl XIX: Warsaw Eagles vs Bialystok Lowlanders, July 13, 15:00 CET (3 pm, 9 am EDT)

The #1 Warsaw Eagles face the #3 Bialystok Lowlanders in Warsaw, Saturday, July 13 in the 2024 Polish Bowl.

This will be the Eagles‘ fifth appearance in the Polish championship game (currently 2-2), but their first appearance since 2013 and they have not hoisted the trophy since the Polish Bowl III, in 2008. Despite the organization’s drought from the championship game, their roster is loaded with players who have been in this game before. Should the Eagles, who have not been defeated since week 1 of the regular season, come out victorious, in addition to ending the organization’s 16 year championship drought, they will extend their win streak to nine games as they head into the off-season.

On the other side of the field, the Lowlanders will be appearing in their third Polish title game (currently 2-1). Despite the rough start to the season, which saw them drop their first three games, they were able to turn things around and go 4-1 over the last five games of the regular season. The Lowlanders may not have as many marquee type players as they have had in the past, but one thing that remains unchanged in their locker room is the fight until the end that has seen them win the last two Polish Bowls on Special Teams in the final minute. If the Lowlanders are victorious, they will become the first team to three-peat in Polish Bowl history.

*Editorial Note: In 2018 & 2019, Poland had 2 different governing bodies. The Eagles and Lowlanders played under different governing bodies and each appeared in their respective title game, both years (Eagles 2-0 & Lowlanders 1-1). Above mentions of past championship games do not include these years.
