LIVESTREAM Poland: Warsaw Eagles @ Bialystok Lowlanders, June 10, 16:00 CET (4 pm, 10 am EDT)

The Warsaw Eagles (4-3) and Bialystok Lowlanders (6-1) will face each other in the final game of the 2023 Polish Football League regular season to partly decide Warsaw’s post season fate.

In the only game between the two earlier in the season, Warsaw downed the Lowlanders 13-2. An Eagles win today would clinch a playoff spot while a loss and a Warsaw Mets win over the winless Olsztyn Lakers tomorrow would drop the Eagles out of the post season.

The Eagles have lost twice to the Mets during the regular season.

Notwithstanding the loss to the Eagles, Bialystok has a potent offense led by quarterback Clayton Uecker (Adrian College), who has two excellent targets in Eryk Makowski and Noel Graf. Running back Jędrzej Śmigielski is also a major contributor to the top rated offense in the league. Defensively, Bialystok has surrendered just under nine points a game, also best the league.

Warsaw has the second best defense in the country (behind the Lowlanders) and proved it in the first game against the Lowlanders. They will need the offense to step up today.

Although the Lowlanders have nothing to play for other than pride, they will be looking to avenge their only loss of the season, while the Eagles will be fighting for their playoff lives.
