The defending champion Bialystok Lowlanders (0-1) will be looking to avenge themselves when they take on the Wyszkow Rhinos Sunday, March 31 in Poland’s Liga Futbolu Amerykańskiego.
The Lowlanders were embarrassed by the Wroclaw Panthers last week in their opening game of the season, losing 45-6. Meanwhile, the Rhinos lost a high-scoring game to the Olsztyn Lakers 38-35.
Bialystok’s new head coach Alex Burdette has had a week to regroup his team and get quarterback Rex Dausin and the rest of the offense in sync.
The Rhinos offense, led by quarterback Jon Brown, has shown they can score so the Lowlanders defense will again be put to the test.
