LIVESTREAM: Mexico – LFA – Mexicas v. Dinos. Sat. March 30, 6p Central (8p EDT, 1a March 31 CEST)
As Mexico’s Liga De Football Americano Profesional heads into the final stretch, the 2-3 Mexicas take on the 2-3 Dinos in a game that is crucial for the playoffs.
The Mexicas, defending LFA champions, find themselves in fourth and last place in the Central Conference while the Dinos occupy third in the North.
The Dinos offense has had a tough time scoring as evidenced by the 63 points they have put up in five games. The Mexicas have been more productive on offense with 88 points scored but given up far more, 104, than the 73 allowed by the Dinos.
Mexicas QB Ricardo Quintana is the second leading passer in the LFA with 1,222 yards passing. With Dinos starting QB Mata Charles missing due to injury, Garcia Blancas has stepped up throwing for 370 yards in two games. However, he has thrown five interceptions against only two touchdown passes.
This on is a toss up but with the Mexicas now gaining momentum after losing their first two games and Quintana playing solid football, they could pull this one out.
