After dropping the opening game of the season to the Bolzano Giants 21-15, Lazio has won two straight, beating UTA Pesaro 34-7 and the Torino Giaguari 35-27.

Ducks head coach Bart Iaccarino has assembled a solid team from the merger of the Lazio Marines and Roma Grizzlies and both his quarterback, Hans Fortune and running back Mike Gentili top their respective categories. Fortune is the leading passer so far in the young season in Italy with 638 yards passing and 5 TDs. Gentili leads the league in rushing yards and touchdowns with 290 yards on the ground and six touchdowns.
